Christmas is Coming!

On Tuesday's I'm trying to report on what I've been working on--projects, organizing, etc.

Tonight's project was simple: sit down and watch a holiday movie with the kids. We watched the old version of Ruldolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. You know the one. The Rankin/Bass stop-motion version from the 1960s. Classic and so much fun.

We snuggled together on the couch and enjoyed an hour of no stress, very little fighting, only one dirty diaper, and many many smiles and giggles.

And now that they're all asleep, I can give up the day and go dream of Santa and his reindeer.

I love Christmas!!!!

I'm Sick and Tired of. . . .

Being sick and tired.

This is Monday's post, and I am unfortunately aware that it is now Tuesday morning.

I was planning on putting together a fun post about the last week or so--including pictures of the kids putting up the Christmas tree. But that isn't going to happen right now.

Our entire family has been battling sickness since September. Colds, influenza, stomach flu, bronchitis, ear infections, sinus infections. We can't get rid of it.

So instead of posting pictures last night, I was wiping noses, filling humidifiers, and crashing myself. The fun post will have to come later.
